Blentech manufactures complete bacon bits continuous cooking systems for production capacities of 200-lb/hr up to 3,000-lb/hr (90-1360 kgs/hr), on a finished product basis. Raw product feed rates are a function of desired finished product moisture content. This system employs the proprietary ContinuTherm cooker that is designed to rapidly drive moisture out of the bacon product, resulting in high quality, crispy, golden brown bacon bits. This custom design is crucial to develop and maintain the massive amount of heat energy required to drive moisture out of the raw bacon to achieve the appropriate texture and color of the final product. One of the major advantages of this system over traditional microwave processes is the lower energy requirement of the Blentech bacon bits system. We can include product transport conveyors for transporting the product to/from various process stages, metal detection tools, weight management systems and custom PLC temperature control systems for a high degree of process control. The Blentech bacon bit system is a solution that integrates systems to accomplish the following process stages:
