Background

Blentech specializes in the integration and optimization of vacuum processing systems.  Many food, flavor, pharmaceutical, and fragrance products are heat sensitive at the moderately high temperatures of their atmospheric boiling points. Processing is carried out under vacuum to minimize thermal degradation. Blentech provides highly efficient vacuum cooking/cooling solutions for the food, biotech, pharmaceutical, neutraceutical, and cosmetic industries. We offer both single and dual stage vacuum systems.  Single stage systems consist of a liquid-seal vacuum pump, a condensate pump, and a tube-in-shell condenser.  Heat energy is drawn from the headspace of the cooker, collapsed into water, and expelled via the vacuum.  Single stage units are ideal for cooling product down to 110°F (43°C) and concentration/evaporation processes. Our dual stage vacuum systems include proprietary motive steam technology that allows us to achieve perfect vacuum at 29 inches Hg enabling rapid product cooling to 40°F (5°C). Rising energy costs have created a demand for process vacuum systems which operate at the lowest possible cost. A combined ejector/condenser/liquid ring pump vacuum system remedies this industry need.
