Jacketed Blender

Blentech jacketed horizontal mixers are appropriate for less sophisticated thermal processing applications involving heating and cooling of liquids or thin slurry products where the proprietary cooking technologies incorporated into our top-of-the-line blending cookers would be redundant.

Processors benefit from lower equipment pricing without compromising on performance.

Jacketed mixers are available in single and dual agitator models with a variety of agitator configurations to match your particular processing requirements. Ribbon and twin ribbon agitators are most commonly selected as they do an excellent job of blending products with liquid and particulate phases, such as soups, with minimal shearing.

They perform ably when heating, cooking or jacket cooling thinner products. The machines can be dedicated to heating using hot water or low pressure steam or jacket cooling using chilled water or glycol. With appropriate optional components a single jacketed mixer can both cook and cool a product batch.

Blentech jacketed horizontal mixers are the answer for the processor wishing to increase production capacity and/or enhance thermal processing performance where the product characteristics and application requirements do not warrant Blentech’s higher end cooking capabilities.

Blentech jacketed mixers are most appropriate for thermal processing applications of low viscosity products where burn-on is not a concern. Typical applications include:
